My Personal loneliness

To much of my personality to contend with
The sum of me splattered across these pages
of life
With all its additions,subtractions,and divisions
Some days I'm laid bare
like an open wound
with ragged edges
from my mind
sifting through mental scars
I thought were healed from some time ago
Going through life constantly
changing the bandages
until this screaming pain
now becomes a dull ache
That I can live with

OR BULLDOZE THEM OUT OF EXISTENCE WITH NO
RESISTANCE
SOOTHING THE CONSCIOUS WHILE TURNING A BLIND EYE
FRESH NEW LIES PREPARED FOR THE DAY
TO GO WITH THE NEW SHIRT AND TIE
JUST A LITTLE MORE CROOKED AND COMPROMISED

THESE TRUTHS ARE NO LONGER SELF-EVIDENT
