I was in a fight last night
it wasn't physical it was
verbal indeed giving free rein
to the dark side of the brain
where the deepest darkest
thoughts lie in wait to slay
away at the audacity of one's
intention to disrupt the pressence
of inner peace while unknowingly
awakening the inner beast
with only few words spoken
I won that fight last night
all I said was "good night"
