scolding him about not
washing his face & ears
the rest of the gangs
mothers were on them
about different things
the camera pans in
on the little rascals
outside gathered
on the curve griping
about their mothers
fussing over hygiene
Spanky says "yeah
what's all this business
about washing your face"
then he turns to Buckwheat
who is sitting be side him
looks him in the eyes
and says "you're lucky"
being a Buckwheat he
had to grin and bear it
he couldn't pick up a rock
and knock off his block
don't be a Buckwheat
today tomorrow or any
