Is this the day I finally find love,

My gaze becomes fixated upon the stars above,

A twinkle of hope... I wish of nothing more.

Passive thoughts flutter in the winds of before,

I dare to explore the longevity of twilight,

Into the long awaited arms of your comfort I find delight,

To hear your love song I hum its chorus,

A beating of our hearts united we are no longer cautious.

Is this the day I finally find love,

Tribulations and trials I have had my fill,

Into the skies my wish soars like a beautiful dove,

Its destination is your thoughts....think of me if you will.

What I grant you money cannot purchase,

A priceless artifact that is far from worthless,

I give to you a place of security from all your pain,

And as God blesses us I shall not use His name in vain.

Your trust, friendship, and loyalty is what I hope to gain,

A moment of passion is what I intend to attain.

Is this the day I finally find love,

Am I ready to conquer my fears of lonliness

And remember its true lesson?

Even though I wish for that day of happiness,

As time progresses with the change of each season,

I ask myself when will that day come?

Patiently I wait...
