My innocent youth,
has vanished into
these old snapshots.
Here I stand a
careless infant,
casting an aw inspiring
grin.
Looking through the
lens,
into a fast paced upbringing.
Only to long for
childish happiness,
that time robbed me
of.
Leaving Kodak memories,
witholding jealousy.
A cute little one who
lost the fight against puberty.
The boy who failed to
dodge his own insecurity.
But still he stands,
a foreginer
to the world.
Still he stands,
a mother's wished gift.
