chains us up with temptation.
Poking fun at faithful servants,
who can't see him lurking
from a far.
Playing his game of deception,
until we understand the need for
rejection.
Breaking bad is often
dreadful.
For these fleshly
operations,
that only know imperfection.
It's on God I depend
to keep my selfishness,
from running me off the
deep end.
Knowing he needs that
exclusive order.
It's hard to fight
the current,
when the Devil's
treading water.
