you told me we were going to do this
together but when it was time to go
I couldn't find you how could you
leave without telling me you gone
it's been some years but I still think
about those times sitting up at night
talking for hours I guess you had your
own plans that did not include me
I stayed back and waited in case you
had a change of mind you never did
