Vivid I painted a picture
Debated then illustrated
Leaving foes oh so frustrated...
That they were surprised that I made it
See, me and success is related!
Hard work and I often dated
Opportunity and I eventually mated
Luck I intentionally impregnated
Dedication and I wed in holy matrimony
So failure doesn’t really know me
I keep fear and hate so lonely
That self doubt’s about to owe me!
An apology, and frustration’s finna see
The other side of misery!
Because Joy is our baby!
Never no, only yes and maybe
A confident and positive attitude is the key
To be who you were destined to be.
