I been writing to the future
the one I won't be part of
I been telling them that
the best part is love and I
hope that's something that
they get plenty of I been
trying to explain to them
what it is and what its made of
it's hard for me to do
because it's been so long
since I been held and felt
its touch if it wasn't for
memory I couldn't keep
in touch with how it feels
to miss something so much
