His music spoke to me
As his fingers caressed
The fret of my father’s
Vintage Gibson.
A few of his own melodies
Along with some familiar faves,
Always in awe of how he plays
A well seasoned guitarist with
George Benson qualities.
My troubled mind finally at ease
From the past week’s events.
As his music resonates throughout,
I couldn’t help but say to myself
Since we were right under the vent,
My upstairs neighbors were the
Balcony section of another one of
My own personal private shows
Which is only a treat for me
Because he loves playing
My dad’s guitar.
