I gave forgiveness to those
who never forgave me

I love to those
who never love me

"I woke and I realize"

I give my time to those
who won't give me
the time of day

I'm thoughtful of those
who pay me no mind

I'm there for those who
are never there for me

I save lives of those who
will never save mine

I apologize to those who
will never say "I'm sorry"

I gave my last dime to
those who wouldn't give
me a nickel

I bail out those who will
never get me out of jail

drowning
