Redemption & The Bering Sea...

CATEGORY

long distance

How many seas have I crossed for you...

How many more names must I cross through

How many times can I write rhymes

Then kneel at the cross asking what more must I do...

On the Atlantic

It's almost like I planned it

What was once a fond memory, now I can't stand it

Oh how I want to lay that burden down

A confirmation of what is sought shall be found

I thought I just needed to be a better finder

Told satan to get behind her...

Talked about her in 3rd person

So not even I would know I was hurtin'

Can I add Ontario into the scenario

if I was just a kid Fishing on a lake...

And only dreaming about what it would take?

Siren call so specific

Lyric Muse so prolific

She returned to the Pacific

The place of pain

Land of no rain

I forced fruits That I may never eat

The knowledge was sweet

But the seed was bitter And I refuse to plant it

when I'm taken for granted

Hey, You...

Do you too

feel cursed cause you have no roots?

Eve is blamed in the evening

when there's no meal prepared...

But what about the fall when the ground was bare?

Do you know when to till?

Or just wait until... we meet

Or when it's time to eat

or after this carnivore

has once more taken to the shore

then you decide to dung the dirt- you procrastinating piece of sh*t

May God bless your soil

because he already cursed the toil

so there's reciprocity in it.

My tongue is cold isn't it?

But it's cathartic...

Up here in the Arctic.

And now you askin' Abraham "Why don't she Cool it?"

But there's a Gulf between you, me, and who I used to be

I know I'm late Xscape

but the answer's neither

And If I were Nas, this would be Ether...

and if you were Jay, I wouldn't make anotha' you either

To you, that scorned lover sounds evil

But, Damn-it-Danny-Glover she Lethal

And I can do it at a distance...

I made it this far off of resistance

I forged an anchor out of resentment

So when I stop to make sure the sail's intact

It reminds me to never look back.

It's soul-baring what I'm sharing

It's soul searching what I'm daring

I planned for it...

On forward...

toward the untoward Bering Sea

No longer looking for him, I've been discovering me

So if you're seeking... right here... right here's where I'll be

Cause I've come too far through the sieve

to give reprieve to a would-be match

You best believe... I'm the Deadliest Catch

No Redemption... No Get-backs... No woman-No Cry

Wow! A powerful pounding rhythmic flow of allegorical messaging. No woman...No Cry...Keep'a screaming the joy of self-awareness and profoundness, SirenLyricMuse. Thanks for this beautiful "word playing" share. Truly enjoyed the "redemptive cruse". Peace and Love.
