GOOSEBUMPED IN EARLY FALL...

CATEGORY

Whew, today’s unexpected chilled wind

Made a mockery out of both spring

And fall in their changing off the guard-like

Waning and waxing in the rhythmic circadian

Nature of Nature’s revolving canvassing.

In frosty goosebump fashion, it appeared as if

Impatient, ole man winter, decided to give the day

An early “trick or treat” tease of what will later come.

And being treatless in preparation, my cringing

Cold nose is now filled with dripping sniffles.

Just imagine, fall has yet to canvas the carpeting

Of the ground with falling leaves of crucifixion

To allegorically remind us of the need to be prepared

For what will be falling upon us when winter comes.

Is ole man winter trying to be teasingly prophetic?!

Yes, the weather is super crazy as the years pass by, talking about global warming. It's getting to the point some days you don't know what season you're in. You may need a coat, shorts and an umbrella all in the same day. You are such an inspiration. I'm not on Poetry vibe much, but when I am, I am always inspired by your works. Thank you for always for taking us deep inside your thoughts. Great write!!!

Indeed, Sassy. There have been that we have overcome. And with undying hope and joy, we will overcome whatever is coming.

Though my three books were self-published, I've discovered that the original company set the price for each book As I published to give to friends, rather than make money, I am now in the process of republishing through another company. At present, I still have one copy each of "MIDDLE PASSAGE CHILD" and "ON THE WAVES OF LOST MEMORIES." Hope to soon have a few more copies of "MIDDLE PASSAGE CHILD." My email is: mlowe5@aol.com Thanks for your inspiring support. ONE. Peace and Love
