that don’t bother me

ever be is in my mind

as long as I can think

as long as I can remember

I ain’t been free no time

other than the thought

of liberation in my mind

I know I’m not the kind

to get justice I know

what I’m up against

I know who money 

I labor for and I spend

 I know I have a lot

and still don’t own 

nothing I know I could

lose everything for

something I know who gives

I know who takes away

I know who’s in control 

I know why I sleep

I know why I’m woke

I know the game is rigged

I’m no magician I don’t

know all the the tricks

and trades I know how to 

play a game of spades

I know it’s something 

In the mix I know the fix

is in I know what it takes

to win I know it ain’t got

nothing to do with living

I know you got to go 

to the source to come

back and haunt the living
