At the dock

Of the bay,

I meticulously

Reset my sails

For the coming

Oppressive winds.

While I cannot

Stop their blowing

Towards me, I can

Reset a chartered course

In order to counteract them.

Indeed, while we 

May not be able to

Put out the fires of Hell, 

We can meet them

With anti-inflammatory

Strategies hoisted by ropes

Of Hope and undying Faith:-

Let us in readiness, hoist

Our new sails for the future

Sojourn that’s being chartered

With wretched wrinkling waters

Of the new trials and tribulations

We shall smoothly sail through

On our overcoming voyage.
