Fields of dreams
Must not become
Burnt forests
Of smoking nightmares;
Pathways to progress
Must not become
Muddy roads bogging down
The liberation journey:-
“Not anymore.”
Must be replaced with…
“Onward to the end
We now go.”
Now is the time
To give true meaning
To our equity, solidarity,
And national subsidiarity
Unlike children of Sisyphus,
Let us confidently challenge
Our mountains oppressive
Falling rocks with undying hope:-
Going from strength to strength
As we audaciously climb the craggy way,
Let us—like Paul—without apprehension—
Joyously ascend to our resurrected liberation:-
