Indeed, it only takes a little
To lose a lot;
Today, another little black child
Has been unjustly shot:
They thought his phone
Was a gun
And that he was about
To run:-
Because he was black,
They shot the child
In the back!
A young white boy
Murdered teachers
And students with joy;
But because he is white
He gets to defend his right:-
When you contemplate all this,
You realize the shades of justice.
