looking out the window at a storm approaching the light came in and the lights went out the ice cream and popsicles melted and the fish spoiled was looking forward to a crab boil couldn't make the tuna had to throw the mayonnaise out the refrigerator a few hours of power outage then the lights came on still raining outside  the yellow crown heron came home roaming the yard like a crackhead on the hunt looking like a dog digging up a bone ears still ringing from the boom sheltered in place inside the room mad as hell about the waste of food mother nature what I do to you who gone replace all this fish and poultry money don't grow like leaves on trees the work force don't get EBT insurance don't cover contaminated groceries I'm mad enough to snap on somebody but I won't instead I'm gone let this pen be aggressive write out all the aggression release the endorphins relieve the pain and anguish reduce the stress get it off the chest
