In Purpose and Choice
Sitting here consumed in thought,
a gentle whisper ushered itself
into my solitude and ushered out
all apprehensions that sought
to anchor themselves therein.
Of purpose is one thing
and of choice is another—
both have seemed different
until sandwiched and consumed
as the one mission from God.
Transformed by this renewal of mind,
I metamorphosed back into a gentle plowing
warrior; chosen and commissioned to purpose:
With divine wisdom and guidance, I’m digging deeper;
Mining newer ways to continue being in God's labors of love.
