Writing Groove

Aint got into that comfortable

Fall Winter mood to get into

that easy going smooth

rhythmic flow Its just the

atmosphere aint quite

right yet still kinda warm

heater aint jumpin on and off

leaves aint turned brown hitting

the ground aint dark at 5 yet

but Muse makes me sit down

pick up that pen get it movin

get on down with that writing

groove

My favorite Rock group is the Rolling Stones

I have two forty fives I bought in high school

still have them one 45 was get off my clou the

other no satisfaction by the Stones I sometimes

have to tell Muse I Cant Get No Satisfaction Rolling Stones

Darkness

Power outage 38 hours

sittin in the dark out here

in these country boonies

No lights no water phone

not charged talkin bout misery

love company

We live in the country  electricity

we got to have it its our entertainment

I old school got the turn tables no music

no Tv Computer need the electro

Sittin in the dark look out bedroom window

two  very tall security light poles out and

talk about scary lookin Dark shadows large trees

black sky wind whippin and trippin like

nobody business

All I can do is sit here quietly think about

Curtis Mayfield song and that title Right On For The Darkness

The Lake

Just a calmin Fall day

at the lake

the waters r calm just

smooth waves rollin in

hit the bank disperse as others

wave on in

Its a peaceful feelin the lake

am parked 20 feet away

to view the lake as it stands

through n through

Always a calmin feelin I get

just nearly everyday ridin stoppin

by the lake

Just a treasure of a pleasure

hearing the water flow n

hit the bank

My beautiful creator always a

enormous thanks

 This lake is man made Its a nuclear plant

i worked for two years as a scaffold builder

adventurous dangerous job During that time

I listened to a lot Bob Seger and the Silverbullets a favorite

rock group they had this song out Fire Lake Youtube has it I

think about that song each time I go to the lake

I dont write to inspire

Its somethin I do from time

to time

I dont write to b always pictured

I dont write for someone to judge

b analyzed

Waterfall

Soothing sound of the

waterfall

which really not a waterfall

at all

Its a sprinkler system

set up in this small pond

in this quaint small town

all part of a park with walking

trail playground for small kids

fishing dock to fish from

and the refreshing sounds of

water

pleasing to Vets like me

dealin with PTSD

A nice song I always liked is Waterfalls by three young

ladies known as TLC

Walkin The Walk

Remember growin up in the

rough and tumble inner city

Our growin up Baby Boomer generation

none of that gang killings jus raw

down survival that was the common

nitty gritty

Food on the table a place with a roof

thats how we grew up

no cars no bycycles it was all about

them feet and legs city bus or walk

you will never know the meaning of good ole days

until you old and grey you will look back

smile and say

Every year bout this time

I fall in love all over again

Its a routine I have had

all my life

now gone
