the muse is in the music like a geni in a bottle ready to make your wish come true you gotta let it out to get what you want out of it the muse is in the music to inspire you to compose mine is a goddess in a see through robe she sparks something inside me she fuels desire in me and heightens the passion she's a touch me not it's it's a sticky situation and strictly platonic I plagiarize the sh*t out of her she doesn't mind it one bit she loves when I take it from her she's a giver asking nothing in return but for me to remember and never forget she's at my she's at my fingertips available to be used when ever and how ever I wish to do so

Impact

you can throw a wrench in my spokes but you can't stop me from moving forward I'll get off the bike and walk if I have to you can't make me stumble on stepping stones my steps are ordered it's etched in stone I'll walk on hot coals if I have to I got goals I'm gone shine you can have the gold too hot to be cold I found the key in a dream didn't have to look for long woke up in the zone a lane of my own foot on the gas don't walk across the grass dog in the yard mean like me no trespassing jump the fence at your own risk armed with a weapon made for home defence creative juices flowing like a busted fire hydrant peaceful demeanor deep inside violent riot spilling out into the street can't stand in a seat unless you stand in a chair don't know what to do with it leave it there

The Starting Point

our hair comes from our roots our nose lips and eyes do too we can press our hair perm our hair cut our hair put someone else's hair in our hair but what we cannot do is change our roots

It's A Feeling

I want somebody to know how I feel I express it in my own creative way sometimes it feels like nobody wants to hear what I got to say I don't let it stop me I say it any way maybe it's not for somebody here today perhaps it's for somebody who's on the way

The World Today

the late great Marvin Gaye told us what's wrong with the world today "everybody wants somebody to be their own piece of clay" it's too many potters in the house that want us to be putty in their hands they don't want us to be who we want to be they don't want us to do what we want to do they don't want us to say what we want to say they want to mold and fashion us in their own likeness they'll offer you a hand when they see you step out on faith tell them no thank you I'll find away don't be no one's piece of clay to mold and shape

seeking what's beyond the surface discovering deeper meaning living life to the fullest capacity hanging out the window to see through illusions anything's possible new creations on the rise until conclusion

Now I Know

I missed a lot of opportunities things I thought were opportunities so many doors closed in my face I had to get in I couldn't walk away I knocked on locked doors until I knocked myself out now I know what didn't know then now Know why couldn't get in now I Know I'm here now because those closed doors saved my life

A Fantastic Fantasy
