Red Water

On weekend morning, I decided to take a trip to my favorite fishing spot in a small town in south Texas

The drive there is about 45 minutes from my house

I loaded up my gear then set out

When I arrived, I unloaded my gear then walked about 13 minutes through the wooded area to reach my secret fishing spot

I made It

The water was calm but clear

I casted my first line almost to the otherside of the small lake and realized where my lure landed there was an area of  blood floating near

I set down my pole then went to the otherside to investigate

When I got to the othereside, I came across a blood trail inwhich lead into the water 

I glazed closely and notice the torsel of a pig submerged on its side beheaded and de-limbed in the water 

I questioned myself? Could be from some type of sacrifice? or Could this be from a failed slaughter

Tears from a little baby boy brought many tears of joy

7:30pm born at Methodist Hospital in New Orleans LA. 

On my Birth Certificate it was Noted 

But No One But God knew that I was Going to be A Poet.

Change Of Season

I got up on to a new day 

A day filled with errands to run including a class in school

I made myself a descent breakfast to get on my way

I stepped outside the weather was welcomely clear, crisp, and cool

Wrong stop

It was in the evening hours when we were driving through Texas and decided to stop at a gas station in a city called Vidor, Tx. I got out of my truck to fill up the gas tank. While standing, holding the gas nozzle, I was approached by a young tall white gentlemen and was asked of where we are you heading. I replied, by saying, that should be none of your concern. He immediately got an attitude and walked off towards the rear of the station. I paid the guy no mind and continued pumping the gas. Out of no where, the guy and four men on horses appeared. One of the men shouted to the young tall guy, Is that him? I figured he was refering to me. The guy pointed at me and said, Yes that's the "N" word. I replied, Excuse me, What did you call me? With a giggle, from one of the men a horse, he said that's the "N" word. I put my hand on my 357 on my side and said, Now in the truck is my family, and I intend to get out of here with my family, we seek...
