Totally Numb (True Story)

It was the fall of 1980 in New Orleans, It was cold

I was at the innocent age of seven years old

My mother would always speak of this supervisor that was an iron fist while running the floor

My Moms would always talk about how mean she was particularly towards this guy named Curtis

Describing how she unnecessarily treated and bullied him everyday out of control

One day,  

My Moms came home from working at the New Orleans Post Office with blood on her clothes

Tears were flowing down her face and make up as she kneeled down on the floor

I asked, Mama are you OK?

She said to me, Curtis Did it! Damn it he did it! He Killed her, He Blew Her to Pieces right in front off us as we were getting off

It happened in the front before the exit door

Damn it he did it!!!! Damn It he did it, He did it as she whaled heavily on the living room floor.
