I wrote a poem today it was just some words to say
I write more then I talk I run more than I walk
I read in the newspaper today
SOMEONE LOST IT AGAIN TODAY
Our whole nation in turmoil of Revelation
People are losing their minds not realizing that change takes time
People acting strange mother shoots son at gun range
Everybody going through bills pilling up and due
SOMEONE LOST IT AGAIN TODAY
Could have been me or you
Floating down stream with nothing to hold on to
Pink slip final notice pay up or quit shut off notice
We were all warned of these times and daybreak crimes
Unemployment shooting through the sky
Bills to pay and not enough money bill collectors don't care they want their money
He was such a nice man people who knew him say
he lost his job so he put his whole family away
SOMEONE LOST IT AGAIN TODAY
Evil is loose its time for the soldiers to come forth and fight
Abolish the darkness with the light
It is time to get into gear to save a dying crying nation
Cover your head with your helmet of salvation
Take off your bulletproof vest and put on your breastplate of righteousness
Keep it together with your belt of truth
Sharpen your sword of the spirit its evil but don't fear it
Hold your shield of faith close to your heart to deflect the fiery darts
Tie your shoes tight and be ready to run to fight
When the moon loses its shine and no more bright there will be nothing left but night
You will be stumbling in the dark if you do not turn on your light
The enemy is sifting us like wheat but do not retreat pray in your sleep
Soon his time is coming to an end but not before the storm and gust of wind
The one who's in control is the keeper of our souls
Hold on tight and fight for your children for your family for humanity
And by all means your sanity
