I’m not good at expressing my feelings
so I’m sorry for my lack of words
but I need to explain some things on my mind...
I love to laugh until it hurts
and I aint gonna lie I hate to cry
I avoid it at all costs, I dunno why
I’m not a touchy person but i love hugs
and it really bugs and irks me to my core
when people just lie to my face and then shrug
like you ain’t even got the common courtesy and grace
to tell me the truth, put yourself in my place
and it really tugs at my heart and makes it race
when people judge others, its just such a waste
of time and space
leave that all up to God, He sent Jesus to die in our place!
and none of us will ever be perfect so stop flexin
we’re all equally bad, so stop vexin
and don’t let satan convince you otherwise and place a hex on you
you know God created sex too
He meant for it to be meaningful and enjoyed
with someone who respects you
someone who loves and honors you, your husband or wife
the effects aren’t always instant
but it affects the distant, future
don’t use it to try and fill a void, or stitch up your hurt like a suture
because it won’t fix your life
last night he saw you naked
and you let him take something so sacred
but today you feel destroyed
empty inside, there’s a void
and now they all avoid
coming in your direction
you thought yall had a special connection
but you realized all it was, was an errection
now you feel like its a reflection
of the type of person you are
but don’t let that projection
cut you and leave a scar
you deserve love and affection
it’s just rare you’ll find that in a bar
you’re more likely to get an infection
then a man who’s up to par
keep your head up and your confidence intact
you are worth something, the cross made that a fact!
and whenever you feel
like everything is stacked, up against you
don’t let it detract from all the strength condensed in you
i think it’s incredible
how something so deliciously edible
can change our whole perspective
and how someone who’s 100% credible
can be so effective in giving us directive
and we take it like blind sheep in a pack
and if it works, we just keep coming back
like yo what the bleep was that?!
i can’t even believe this life
all of the strife, and animosity
please Lord, I’m just praying for generosity, in my heart
just tell me what You want me to do
