helps to get us through things tragic

faith has brought this race this far
not chariot horse buggy are car

what else could have gotten us this far?
by standing on faith alone you can touch a star

faith helps us to hold on longer
the longer you hold on you get stronger

faith is believing that you are never alone
homeless believing that you will find a home

hungry believing that you will be fed
getting up and walking with your bed

believing that help is coming
believing that from a wheelchair you will be running

believing that from your sick bed you will rise
choosing your own truth through all the lies

believing that you will get up from down
God is with you when no one else is around

believing that you will get over from under
believing that sun will rise from the thunder

faith is believing that for you there is a plan
faith is holding on to the unchanged hand

believing that you are a diamond in rough
God will find you and buff you up

polish and shine you make you brand new
when life takes hold of you and roughs you up

makes you weak and you want to give up

from being tired and had enough
having faith will give you strength and tough you up

believing that God will make away
believing that night will turn to day

believing that you will get to the promise land one day
believing that we will overcome someday

believing that all you have to do is pray and wait
believing that it’s never too late

believing that it’s not over

believing that you will come out of going through

proclaiming that you don’t have to see it to believe it
knowing that you can and will achieve it

believing and never grieve it
pray for it and never leave it

I don’t know why but I believe it
God is invisible yet believable

faith is knowing that God is able
faith works not like a placebo

the tree of faith grows from the seed of believing
those who have faith are always achieving

the tree of many braches but one vine
believing that it is possible to turn water to wine

in self-pity why wallow?
hold on to faith and don’t let go

believe and trust faith I know
lead through the wilderness I follow

it is faith that brought us from the beginning
and it is faith that will take us to the end

before I shoot I see the ball going in
I don’t know about you but my God is my friend

believing in God is all the faith I need
because it's not with my eyes that I believe

the faith in me has moved me from point A to point Z

there is no denying have faith and stop crying
