The Snoopy Dance (Repost)the past is getting in the way of me having a good time I forgot why or how come we had that fight probably had too much to drink that night probably caused by something trivial like you was sleep and I turned on the light or one thanks giving I might have said your dressing was dry or did you make stuffing that tasted like nothing wait a minute I think I know aren't you the one who ate the last slice of sweet potato pie that's enough for me to spew fighting words to spark a feud I'm not sure I'm just going down the list of things to explain why you still sore after all this time did I hit you that hard you still in pain I don't remember a thing I'm here for a good time not feel bad for giving you a swift kick in the a** I rather snoopy dance  |
Twelve Years A Page (12212025)when I first started sharing stuff and thoughts written in my journal online it was on a site called Black Planet I found a spot but couldn't settle in some of the poets were critics some of them harshly critiqued me it was always something wrong with something I wrote or how I wrote it I felt it was wrong if I had given up I wouldn't have made it this far I grew tire of trying to please those godawful misslead poets I mean who made them grand poobah of poetry anyway it wasn't long before I wandered over to the other side of the planet and happened upon the Artist Lounge went inside loved the view and the ambience everybody felt what I was puttin down and I dug their jazz too no one put me down it was all love I hung around for awhile then I wandered off again but there was no love lost I went searching for something different a new wall to scrawl on where words could come alive the only way I could describe the feeling is when I discovered Poetry Vibe I knew I found my tribe |
Form Of Expressiondo not mistake me for being political I am not I poetically prioritize human experience over the ideology of politics I might drop a few lines to imply that politics is a divisive dirty superficial realm of public life, full of "bullsh*t" fostering narratives to pollute minds mine is a deeper more honest way of seeing the world through the blinds appealing to a different kind advocating for change panhandling for the same cause affecting us all who can afford to disengage from the process of hoopla simply Apolitical and not interested in discussing the subject other than poetically openly in a different framework of mind understanding power in artistic context how it's done not the reason why it's done not to step on the toes of those who are purely political I been around the world a few times I went for the okeydoke "not this time not no more" let Babylon fall where it may and the chips fall where they lay and let a poet say what ever the f*** a poet gotta to say |

Unwelcome Truth (12212025)I been reaching out to you it feels stranger by the minute like I crossed over and you didn't like you crossed over and I didn't intuition tells me something sounds different experience tells me it pays to listen |
The Food (12172025)in the kitchen super suspicious of this the yellow liquid the chicken broth smells a little off pungent like the oder of urine the longer it sit in a toilet with the lid up that don't flush highlight the rage while I write a page in if it happen I list it unless I missed it if I find a lose strand I retwist it in ballistic mode in lomien mood the kitchen is a place I only can think about food about the food I'm not gone even start to ask how come this avocado smells like a fart I think the next thought I had was bad so I put it in timeout and sent it to bed without a bite to eat somethings wrong with the food or is it just me |
The Titles (12172025)slammed the door blam mad didn't know what to do with the feeling I had empty alone sad life threw me under the wheels kept rolling over me enraged like roaring thunder reached the boiling point of a dim red hue fist clinched teeth grit mad at the world mind racing fast talking back to the thoughts I had grabbed a pen and a sheet of paper wrote "hear me" in all caps took a plethora of words started from scratch on a scratch pad scrambled letters like a game of Scrabble found a worm in a apple and bit it took the core and hid it spit out the forbidden seen different colors of fire flames mind deep in the paint belly up to the fish in the tank stand alone by the wayside stacking stones a lot is a lot in the wake of silence a knock is a knock don't be afraid see it through it hits different when you see the paperwork in one's favor information holds alot of weight never thought I would live to see the depth of the prophecy strangers on my land I own that property parents took the ... |
