The Staffer did It

Not I said the chicken. "It wasn't me."  
In other words, it was me until it wasn't me.

Ok, so a picture was posted on an old, old, old man’s social media account, and when I say “old” old man, I’m talking someone who’s closer to 100 than he is to 50, someone who Loves late night posting and living in denial.

The picture was a racist picture depicting President Obama and his lovely wife Michelle Obama in a degrading manner. It was humiliating and a disgrace and it was done by someone of poor character, low class and pathetic.  
The picture was posted late at night and “they” said a “staffer” did it.  
Now we are supposed to believe that a staffer would have the AUDACITY to be that bold to post something on “THIS” old man’s account.  
What “STAFFER” in their right mind would even think to do something as post a racial, degrading photo as this one on this old man's account knowing the blame ...

Dear Mini Me

A Letter to my Mini Me,

Dear Mini Me,  
Welcome to this world. I know you are only a few days old, but I decided to write you this letter and read it to you. You’ll have it to look back on as you get older.   

There’s a lot of changes to this world since I first entered.  
Cell phones, computers, electric cars, social media and technology are some of the big changes.  
I have literally seen the world go from a rotary phone, to a wall phone, to a cordless phone, to beepers, to cell phones.  
Even though segregation ended in the 1960’s, sometimes I wonder, because even today, we still somehow race with racism, but we have overcame a lot. Don’t worry, you will learn more about our Black History later.

Be excited my lil Mini Me, because this is a big, big world with so much to do and so many places to visit. So many cities, states and countries with lots of different cultures, styles of fas...

Womb Mate

A Gift from God -  
On an unexpected day, I discovered that I no longer lived alone.  
Without applying for or putting up a sign of vacancy or even a for rent sign, I am now renting out a space within. Yes, within my body. I guess you would say, an Airbnb rental. I wouldn’t say you a squatter, but yeah, you just popped up and showed up and found you a nice, warm place to stay.  
And although I didn’t ask for a roommate, I now all of a sudden have a womb mate. My womb mate did not sign a lease, yet somehow became a part of my lease.  
Alright, I see now, I see what’s going on. I see we got some figuring out to do, but it is what it is and we gon be alright.

I was now no longer one. The day you entered into my womb, you became my responsibility, to love, care and nurture.

The amazing thing yall is, overtime, my womb mate and I became best friends. We did everything together and went everywhere tog...

We are One

We are One.  
Although some may beg to differ, but in all actuality, we are one, created by One.

You believe in God, you pray to God, you cry out to God, you worship God, but you got hatred and divisiveness in your heart. You have jealousy, animosity, bitterness, anger and resentment in your heart.  
Yet you go to church, mass, Bible study, church retreats, you sing in the choir, you’re on the usher board, you are a catechist, you’re the leader of the youth ministry, a cardinal, a deacon, a member… So how could this be?  
What are they teaching you in the church? What are you learning? Are you listening? Ask yourself, is your behavior godly behavior?

You believe in God, you pray to God, you cry out to God, you worship God, yet you lie, you hate, you are mean, you curse, you abuse, you are evil and vindictive… and that shouldn’t be. That is NOT of God.  
How can you pray to God and want blessings, strength, ...

Buckle Up

Parents hug your children, love your children, spend time with them, don’t just give them money to get out your face, let them know they are special, give them praise when they deserve it, acknowledge them so they won’t grow up old, miserable and bitter, never feeling loved or worthy, longing so desperately for attention, any attention, ALL the attention.

I never seen such a “Pick Me, Pick Me” person in all my days. Looka me, looka me… “I had the Biggest… I had the Most, nobody ever did it like me, I did it better, I deserve the award, give it to me…”  
And the audacity to select yourself to be the “acting” whatever you want to call it and just take over and wanna run someone else’s house when yo own house is ran down in shambles, in disarray, filled with chaos, confusion, disruption and corruption is so diabolical.

When it comes to me, my personality, my attitude, my confidence, just me in general - It’s No Matter 

It’s No Matter what you say - If you say I think I’m all dat - And do  
It’s No Matter how you feel - If you feel I’m bossy, I’m demanding, I want things my way… No lies told, I’m not no regular degular, I’m da Goat, TF  
It's No Matter what you think - If you think I’m doing the most, that’s cause you doing da least  

And when I say it’s No Matter, it’s No Matter!  
So ion't know what type of time you on and who don't like it, but just know, I’m still gon do me. So if you got a problem with me, move around and find somethin’ safe ta do. Just saying!

Wavering Season

It’s that’s time of the year yall. The season is changing.  
It’s about to be the holidays with so much busyness and activities going on, but I’m here to tell you, don’t get caught in the wavering season.

What that means is, don’t get caught wavering back and forth.  
Wavering usually occurs when things look shaky or you are filled with uncertainty.  
You can waver in your faith (with fear), wavering in your trust (not believing), wavering in your mind (with worry), wavering in your decisions (with doubt). You waver and worry about your relationship, your marriage, your children, your family, this administration, this president (present dent), this government, your health, your strength, your bills, your finances… 

People say they believe and then they say “but.”  
When you say you believe, I mean truly believe, there’s no if’s, ands and buts about it. There’s no wavering or straddling th...

Happy Glow

Happy Glow shifts your mood to a “Happy” state.  
Happy Glow is a thing, a gift, a gesture, an accomplishment, a smile, a visit…  
Happy Glow is an animal, a hug, a feeling, an emotion or promotion…  

Just being in the presence of Happy Glow causes a nicer you, a friendly you, a relaxed and more chilled you. 

When Happy Glow isn’t around, you may find yourself below average, sad, more grumpy, fussy, impatient, mad, aggravated… 

Do not allow anyone to detect your Happiness. Because truth be told, your Happiness should not depend on another person. 

Happy Glow is whatever makes you happy, and that could just be you yourself.  
So if your issues and worries are piled in a stack, whether Happy Glow came and left, just know Happy Glow will be back. (Smile)
