I don't know what it is,

but there's something about your wits,

Ghost Town

It's like a Ghost Town here,

there is nobody around,

not a peep, nor a squeak,

not nearly an audible sound.

I can hear my heart beating,

 within my pulsating chest,

is the only sound I hear,

as i swiftly progress,

This just doesn't feel right,

In fact it's very errie,

how quiet, and still it is,

It does seems quite scary.

I got to get out of here,

not one individual is found,

as if they had all vanished,

A Sudden Exit

 I got this from a writing challenge from another Poetry website. I hope it's cool that I can post this

As shoes are complaining,

YOU LEFT US BEHIND!!!,

just up against the wall

now that's out of line,

now, what was the rush?, and

the meaning of this?,

just running around barefoot,

just up and just split,

Did the house catch on fire?,

or Maybe a flood,

or you bump your pinky

with a painful thud?,

If you'd worn your shoes,

your feet would be secured,

I would've kept them snugged,

honestly I am sure,

NOW, HERE I AM ANGRY and

having the blues

I'd wished that you

hadn't bandoned your shoes

Someone to talk to,

someone to converse with,

to have stories to share, or 

maybe just kick it,

a true and dear friend,

a friend to the end,

If you hurt or heart is broken,

will help your heart mend,

a friend who is always there,

Pick you up when you are down,

Let you know, that they do care,

Help you to turn that frown around,

There's someone who will help you,
