Trapped in the depths of despair

I wandered aimlessly,
No destination I see nothing through my blurred vision.
I embraced my demons to please their animosity,
I became their friend in spite of my fear of the Lord.
I've committed atrocities against myself,
Giving away my essence to unknown
prisoners i stood amidst a crowd of unequally yoked lost souls,
ball and chain no heavier than a feather,
I held the key given to me by the warden four seasons ago.
I failed to grasp the concept of freedom
so out of fear unwanted I chose to stay.
Until I heard a voice.
Silently it spoke a tongue of unknown origin.
Ja-yu.
What is it that you speak?
"JA-YU"
The voice roared from within.
Surrounded by despair The Voice spoke in Si-pyeon 23:1-2
"Yeohowaneun naui mokjasini naega bujokhami eopseurira. Geuga nareul pureun pulbat-e swige hasigo janjanan mulgaro indohasimyeo."
Each syllable, each word spoke of life,
The Voice spoke of wisdom soaked in Jam-eon 10:12,
"Miumeun datumeul ireukyado sarangeun modeul heomureul deopeo jutda."
Each sentence spoke of discernment
As the ball and chain that was never there fell off my ankle
for the key had already been used.
Too afraid to look for my tongue tasted like salt I felt the demons cower in fear singing songs of deception
as the Voice sung Aga 6:2-3
"(Yeoja) nae saranghaneun nimuen yangnamuga jaraneun jagi jeongwonewreo naeryeoga dong saneseo yeoddereul meogi myeo baegbwareul ddaneunguna. Nimuen naui sarang, naneun nimui sarang, geu nimi baegabwa gaundeseo jagi yeonddereul meogindane"
The prisoners returned what was never taken.
Returning to unlocked cells unwilling to leave.
I ran out of the door that was never there.
Call my name.
Who are you?
I am that I am.
Who are you?
I am the Light.
Now call my name.
I'm too afraid.
I never gave you a spirit of fear.
Now call my name.
Yeshua.
Again.
Jehovah.
Again.
Immanuel.
Again.
Christ.
AGAIN!
JESUS!
From the depths of despair
you pulled me from.
A sheep lost you came for me.
The Voice now recognized was the voice of my soul crying and you, LORD, heard my cries.
That night of darkness you shined your light to guide me through the
valley of the shadow of death.
That night of darkness you instilled in me the will to walk without fear LORD I thank you.
That night I surrendered my being
and laid everything at his feet for the battle was never mine to fight.
that night a new being was born.
Though saved I was found.
through the tears I found my voice
and the first words I spoke were "I believe."
