Time... spoke to Space
said, i feel empty without you
Space did not reply
just hung there like a cloud
signaled it felt
the same thing, too
like a war of the gods
an epic scene,
opening before us
in a glorious display
a lightning strike sends
raw power of brutal beauty
tearing a whole between
clouds and earth
to a place on earths face
never touched before
could have, would have...
should have, does not apply
didn't strike you this time
but you don't need to die
so take heed, please
go inside...
its a war... between the sky
the wind, clouds and Seas
howling winds cries
set the stage to warn
travelers and strays
moving on roads below
to seek shelter
to be safe from harm
waves crashing
against rocky shores
seen even from space
from the ISS
in miniature, from afar
viewed like a dream
an indefinite mass
of dark clouds gathered
moving across
the face of the earth
stirred and brewed
in a witches cauldron
falling through space
at an ever quickening pace
to those below
it brings an icy chill
A lightning strike
as if by will,
returns, giving birth
to a crack in time itself
followed by a low,
loud rolling thunder
a cry which passes
then all is still...
for long moments, then
the pitter-patter of raindrops
striking softly, calling life
to fill its needs, discretely
who knows where it began
or when it may end
the answer is in the wind
but its not talking, now
just moaning deeply
