Matthew 7:13-14

For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction

Narrow the road that leads to life only a few find it....

And so it goes

This road cuts deep in the soles of my feet

Granite pebbles pierce my soul

Walk a thousand miles on a promise

Misplaced faith made me wander

A vagabond on the road

No rest for the weary

I travel backstreets searching for salvation

A piece of Jesus in my pocket

The Devil riding shotgun

I limp on

The road hurts my pride

I swallow spit and solitude

I send a telegraph to my legs to keep moving

The road lives under my feet

Uneven sufaces sacrafice my sins

And so it goes

Reminding me of the past present and future

It begins with a cough

Low grade fever

Night sweats

Diarrhea of the mouth

Also known as talking shi*t

Throwing up lies

Vomiting untruths

Regurgitating hate

Lives on door knobs

Bathroom walls

And leather living rooms

Upper respiratory allegory

Infects the angels of our conscious

Living in blood streams

Mass murder day dreams

Jim Jones hallucinating into the messiah

Passing out cyanide suicide kool-aid communion

No cure for the cultural concubines

Who lay down with the dogs of war

No vaccination

No transfusion

Sex Majic

She had voodoo in her thighs

We made love on a ouija board

Bodies moving involuntarily

Convulsions

Compulsions

Inside a sexual seance

.Performing devilish acts with arched backs

Sorrow matches raging currents

Fast moving 

Angry waters

Doomed to a waterfall

Emotional facades

Concrete calluses

Erode over time and mystery

Rushing water turning boulders into pebbles

As souls float downstream
