I find it sexy being a poet
having reached the depths
of so many words.
I call it a mental pinnacle,
a touch leaving my mouth
drooling to taste one more.
Me wanting to explore what would
grow from a mind so rooted,
planted in my very melanin earth.
It irks me too, getting myself all
riled up, dialing up my poetic
nectars instilled in me since birth.
I’m a quiet soul, but behold I’m
severely poignant and it shows,
bestowing me everything.
This Nigerian gene pools over
everything endearing to reach a
culmination in his mind, and it seeps.
It seeps into a connectivity with
joining rivers who like to flow the
same way, and rip tides like me.
It keeps reminding me why poetry
is a first love, while it holds on
seductively like a Poetess feening..
Hmm, for more
