This World is full of characters
Everyone's deaf but not blind
One is quick to point out the weak or different for a spot in line
The selective hearing blocks that individuals' sight of their own faults
But they don't care as long as they reach the top
This World is full of poverty and racism
The U.S. can turn at the blink of an eye to aid a third world country, but what about our own third world ghettos?
Racism doesn't make it any better
I'm fed up with discrimination toward color and sex
Just because I'm a black female I can't do or achieve as good as the rest?
This World has problems deeper than war
Mostly, all of them are self-made problems but what for?
