I had a bad dream last night
I dreamt life without love,
What a disturbing sight
This nightmarish vision of fright
Thank GOD for Love
Thank GOD for Light
Thank goodness for the light love brings
Love has brought me past the beginning
Love has made me appreciate its ending
Learning to Love Unselfishly
Illuminating and Embracing blemishes
In Myself, Finding GOD by myself
Or better yet being found by Love in itself
Being quite naked in evil replete
I am so glad Love found me
Casting light that burned away a heart’s darkness
Now basking in the light of day and loving it
Rising to shine of love promised
Although tomorrow’s day is not promised
Love promises to stay for as long as long
Graciousness abounds
Characterized by smiles for miles around
In this easy gesture, is my treasure
To make Love to Love would be a pleasure
Of which is a daily measure
In Dosages of Gratitude
Is My Plan for Love
To My Last Breath is Breathed
In Love I Hope to Sleep Lastingly
Where the nights’ slumber is just a nap
Awakening to the continuity that is
