He's not that sun-kissed bronze,
he's that wrkn in the sun
all day brown.
He's not the pretty boy on the front
of the magazine cover,
but he's the face I love
2 c everyday.
He doesn't smell of sandalwood,
amber, or cedar,
laboring sweat is the
scent he wears.
He doesn't bench press 500 lbs but
he carries the weight of his family on
his shoulders effortlessly.
He doesn't have a B.A., M.B.A., or a Ph.D.,
but he's graduated Summa Cum Laude
at being a man.
What I'm trying to say is he's
not the man of every woman's dreams...
he's not even the man of my dreams,
he's more than that.
He's the answer to my prayers.
He's God's plan for my life.
He's everything I never knew I needed.
And he's all the MAN this woman
will ever want.
