This poem is dedicated to a friend, Who god has blessed with so much bravery, A truly blessed and strong women.
Â
Silence burns with im me-
throughout my childhood years,
as the pain burns through me-
I darsent shed a tear.
Â
No one could ever understand-
the pain i must conceal,
It's eating my tender soul away-Â
a nightmare that's come real.
Â
As i walk around this world-
with a smile upon my face,
the pain of incest is eating my heart-
at a painful steady pace.
Â
The perpetrator hides so well-
his evilness that's real,
he plays the respected man by day-
at night the molester that kills.
Â
If anyone would ever know-
the sins within i hold,
I know that  I'm the one they'll blame-
that's why i never told.
Â
His treats assure I'll never talk-
my life he holds in vain,
the smothering secrets, the burning threat-
the crushing world, I must be insane.
Â
Silent digs, silence pries-
silence burns within me,
silence isolates, silence blinds-
