I was a victim of adversity today You should have seen how his head whipped and coiled Teeth oddly shaped like broken red brick And words just as brown and bitter From one point of the mouth to the next   Broken text with no autocorrect   Nothing but adversity with a reminder service The service reminder is that I am surrounded by adversity So what difference can I really make   But  I am victim of adversity and tormented Because the torment only exists in my thoughts of the future I am wickedly depressed and on the other side of evil I am ghost possessed I see struggle and pain but even through the drops I can see joy in the rain I saw that little boy in the corner and with cold dark hands veins pulsating on the back on my hands like a disturbed ocean, I choked him out Because in the end, I understood that only the true me could remain. Removed from pain, devoid of fear No future to speak of, but only living in the now.
