Walking pass an old nickel
Knowing I just spent my last Broken glass under my feet Is the to road to long Or is my pain to deep I don't know what's wrong with me I could see Where there once was boy Sitting outside in the alley Now stands a man knee deep in agony Past relationships still nagging me What is there to keep But to holding on Weakened soul and strong arms makes it easy to get up but not move on Life has lost its lust Withered its charm Too many failed attempts of us in the same broken glimpse of stuff To hard to say goodbye That's why I left the song playing As the words laying ground To be walked over Maybe one day in a crowd where the noise is loud You'll feel me bump your shoulder Until we met again forever...
