I am a person known to few
I am an individual just like you
I am a person unknown to most
I believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
I am a symbol of individualization
With an understanding and realization
That I can be whatever I desire
I can uplift I can inspire
I can teach and be taught
I can and will not ever be bought.
I’m not the sellout type
I stay away from the hype
Whenever I feel any dismay
I get down on my knees and pray
I ask the Lord to show me the light
I ask Him to watch over me tonight
So that I may see the light of day
And continue on the right pathway.
I am not self contained
I am not self sustained
I got here with love and support
I know like most that we all fall short
I know where I’ve been
I know what I’ve seen
I know where I want to be
I know that every choice I make starts with me.
