The IntruderI sit here tonight at my window watching the rain fall swiftly, knowing once it was held gently, in the softness of a cloud; until an intruder came, causing friction, and the soft cloud burst letting go the rain in many drops. I sit here tonight thinking, how much like the soft cloud and the rain, you and I are knowing once I was held gently, until an intruder came, causing fricion, and my loving heart burst letting go the tears in many drops.

Passion Poem#6I waited at the entrance of the front door, as he slowly opened the it, I smiled...slowly grabbing him by his tie, a passionate kiss exchanged, as he ran His hands from my hips, slowly down to my thighs. He paused.... tossing down his keys, Turning round I walked over to the couch, the way my body swings as he watched me from behind, He followed with ease. He stepped a little closer, taking in his scent, sent shivers down my spine, His kisses I did not decline. pulling him down on top of me, he smiled.... his eyes connected with mine, I whispered in his ear “I’ll give you what you need, just come to me and get it” His eye brow raised, he whispered back “You will know what it means, to make love until you scream"

Passion Poem#5 Take A LookHe took me by the hand, pass the living room, pass the kitchen, to the bedroom mirror is his mission. "Pay attention and listen to me" As we both stood in front of the mirror. He whispered softly in my ear...A shiver ran down my spine, his hands entangled in mine. I waited patiently for him to speak, a moment later a kiss he placed upon my cheek. "Do you see what I see? No don't close your eyes, look into the mirror with me." I waited not wanting to look, he brushed my hair from my face " I said look with me" He gently placed his hand under my chin, lifting my head upward, forcing me to face, my moment of discomfort. "Can you see how beautiful you are to me? Bare, unmasked, flaws and all. Your beauty can't be matched." His arms wrapped around my waist, I took a deep breath ready and willing to embrace, the love and understanding that's written on his face. |
Sleeping Beauty:As I lay here and watch you sleep...a deep calm feeling rushes right through me, a smile I release...as I kiss you softly on your cheek. Gently playing with your hair, you are my breath of fresh air, no one will ever compare. Softly my finger tip move across your lips... a tear streams down my face while holding you in a warm embrace. Finally my eyes closed, a blessing..you will always be mines to hold, until the day we both grow old. |
Today Is The Day:Today is the day I begin to see, the beauty that's hidden deep within me, stopping the focus on what and who society wants me to be. Today is the day, I take back control, Don't counts me out, this is just now starting to unfold. Today is the day, I yell out loud, " No more bull from those who don't matter" I am the one and only one who can make this situation better. Today is the day, I take off the mask, to fully understand, it's ok to be hurt from the past, to be wounded like a soldier who's been shot several times, only to get back up and stare right into their eyes. Today is the day, I begin to fight with all my might, being myself morning noon, and night, despite what others may think or see, I know I have to stand strong, I have to get this right. Today is the day, I stop allowing others to pick and choose my mood, while I stand back allowing it, completely being fooled. Today is the day, I will accept who I am, if you don't like it, I don't give a damn.... |
Musically In Tune:He sat near the window, the curtains blowing in the breeze, The sound of soft music played, as his fingers pressed each piano key. I watched him from a distance, no words...nothing just listened. He moved his fingers methodically, causing his rhythmic sound to embrace my whole body. Wanting him to speak, no words came out, the music he played drowned everything else out. I sat near him calmly as he continued to play...I closed my eyes, allowing my mind to wander, my thoughts led astray. Listing to him play I wanted to listen longer, the enchantment of his music got stronger and stronger the fear this would end, I wanted it to last longer. Beautiful, majestic, and pure, the mere sight of this man made me feel secure. Suddenly I get a jolt though out my body, reminding me to wake up now, because it's morning. |
YOUTHOur youth today are affected, unloved, and unprotected...The voices of their parents echoes...yelling, screaming, fighting, and crying..they hear the whisper of their soul slowly dying. They turn to the streets seeking acceptance, trying to make sense of life with their own perception, nowhere to go, no one to love them, not even a simple hug to embrace them..The streets become their home, their love, their friend, their life..what would you do if both your parents are locked up for life? The daily drama of home life is to much, the sexual abuse, the drugs, the physical abuse, the mental abuse, how could this be happing to our youth. My soul aches deep inside, being a product of the same pain , my eyes can no longer hold the tears, who do your youth turn to, when they feel they are to blame. The pain they feel will be hard to heal, some wont even know how to feel...We must not give up on our youth, in their hearts and minds their troubles become their truth. We must take a stand, ... |
PASSION POEM#5: A DANCE OF UNDERSTANDINGHis hands on my hips...anxiety sets in, My mind confused, I can't...it's not a good spot to be in... Suddenly his soft voice whispers..."You're tense...Relax..." I take a deep breath... slowly releasing the air.
