I'm not looking for recognition

I don't need fame

I write these words in hopes of a change

That one day somebody will feel my pain

I hope that they can relate

And see tomorrow as a brighter day

Understand that no one is perfect

But our struggles only make us stronger

Don't let the battles that you face today

Make you throw your dreams away

Prosperity is your destiny

And if you can see some of yourself threw me

I pray that it gives you hope

To know that you can survive

It doesn't matter how many times you've tried

And maybe you didn't suceed

But failure is not your fate

The storm is preparing you for a brighter day

And I hope that I can motivate

Because I am a living testimony

For the devil has tried to destroy me

And just like you I felt stuck

I didn't know what to do

I was down on my luck

But a higher power lifted me up

He allowed me to tell my story

I give him all the praise and glory

And I know that everyone won't understand my words

But for the ones that do

Let me inspire you

Allow me to help you pull threw

Because I believe in you
