People don't make poems,
they only write them down.
The poem is already there,
with every sight and sound.
A river, a fern, a wildflower,
quietly waiting for it's hour.
A waterfall, a redwood tree,
waiting for a poet like me.
That butterfly, though it doesn't show,
is a poem, that I know.
Poems are gifts to you and me
shown through nature beautifully.
