Why momma why? What did I do?
why can't you love me, have I hurt you?
I don't understand how an infant so small,
could cause you such anger and hatefulness
at all.
I came into this world wanting nothing but love,
yet you acted as though I was a curse from above
I had heard from angels that life was school,
I never suspected that life was also cruel.
Why momma why? What did I do?
unconditional love is what I bought to you.
Now there has been no chance for me to
be had, for a life, for a future, for times to be glad.
Now I live this world and as I slip away
there's no joy and no laughter
there's nothing thats gay.
Why momma why? What did I do?
So precious was the life my lord
gave to you.
Will you even realize the life you have taken,
only leaves you alone, empty, lost, and foresaken.

A creation, a miracle, now broken....abused.
As I take one last look with still
big bright eyes,
