Afraid to go to sleep,

for i am afraid of falling.

My nightmares await,

but I keep stalling.

I fall

into the soft embrace of slumbers.

I hold on tight,

as my mind starts to wonder.

As I let go of reality,

and slip away from consciousness,

everything turns to darkness

and I fall into abyss,

then it's...

the falling.

Like rain,

I plunder.

Under the under

tones of thunder,

lower than the silence,

as my senses heighten,

striking like lightning,

I'm struck by the violence,

the storm,

the wind,

the scorn

within,

the frightening,

the forsaken,

at the bottom,

the awakening...
