Ah yes, we are the sayers;
Our words soothe the souls of everyone
and sound the strophes for the young people;
Ah yes, we are the sayers.
Behold, I shall speak of the witnessing of talkers,
of the slow words and smooth words.
We shall break words together
And crack skulls,
As we formulate the logos
Of the quadrivium organum.
The word is given out
and the multitudes gather.
We are the sayers, the glorious sayers.
The chanter of the west has said:
Gather words and literati;
Sing in the pine trees of the land.
The chanter of the west has spoken,
And the stream of words played back,
Turned gibberish and singsong
