Salutations to One’s Misery

While another’s Smile is a Mystery

History is real when truth be told

Acting like a child, maturity outgrowths

Wishing me well but cursing under breath

I guess, but you assume, hate in you fumes

Make room for compassion, negatively reacting

Good cheer is heard, plucking your last nerve

Unheralded confusion, looking for misdirection

Sleeping with an enemy, yet loving thy neighbor

All love should be in every breath, not sudden death

I suspect more from a stranger, friendships in danger

Aware that bad jux lingers, for you in not seeing me

How dare I throw caution to the wind, is that how it ends?

Or is it, just to begin another battle of who has last laughs

Stressing who was happy first, happiness can’t last!

Of the same race or so I thought our flights 2b……

Off course, lost in the sauce of self authored tears of misery

Clearly I see that my happiness, isn’t what it’s cracked up 2b

For you stalk my days of joy plotting to sink my mental buoys

Believing you will stand on top, only when my smile turns upside down!

Happiness begot is far deeper than any self manufactured lot, that’s what I got

I have more in store upon realizing My Happiness, is a right in life…..

Not hinging upon my brother’s plight,

No need to fight for what I already and always had

Blessed to appreciate, the light of this day, 2b glad

Tomorrow I pray, just like the day before for insight to restore…
