trouble always finds me

when I’m trying to find peace

no matter where I go

no matter what I do

I seem to find you

trouble the beast

that does not cease

trouble is like death

lurking around

every corner

every rest stop

main road

park bench

doorway

parking lot

cross road

Highway

intersection

stop sign

no matter how far

I have gone

the number of places

I have made my home

numerous times I’ve

changed my phone

number

you just won’t leave

me alone

trouble is like a whore

It’s easy to get into

I’m no longer a child

trying to fit in

trouble is the friend

driving a stolen car

pulling over for me to get in

trouble is a relative

addicted to get rich quick

schemes using my name

getting me caught up

in between

trouble can find me on a bad day

minding my own business

doing nothing

pushing the right button

that launches a missile

I can’t call back

now I'm in trouble
