Cast away from the stars
yes here we are
At night I look upon the stars
that shimmer so
guiding me back to where I was
many moons ago
they wink and invite my return
to tell of lessons learned
though the excitement I enjoy
on earth
rejoice in the fact one day I
will return of my birth
