I have no inspiration to finish the poems that I have started

I just stare at the words on the page and my mind goes blank

No direction for the words to flow

They have abandoned me in my time of need

In my moment of desperation of needing a poetic release

  I have nothing

  My words have disappointed me

So I sit around with a frown on my face

Waiting for my words to return I'm getting impatient It has been several days already

How much longer will this take?

Ah, we all have been there as Poets! Just take time and listen to that tiny heart beat in the womb of your poetic mind. There is power there waiting to explode with dynamic messages in the poetic making. Thanks for sharing. What's happening now is what we word musicians also call "wood shedding". Peace, Love and Unity.
